Scott Clair is a trial and appellate lawyer who has succesfully represented businesses and individuals in trial and arbitration proceedings throughout the country, with a focus on contract disputes, fraud and business torts, trade secrets, Uniform Commercial Code disputes, and banking litigation.
In addition to his trial practice, Scott also advises businesses and individuals on a variety of transactional matters, including business, real estate and other types of contract negotiations, as well as pre-employment and post-employment negotiations for employers and employees.
Scott also advises clients on compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
Before starting his own law practice, Scott practiced at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, an international law firm based in Chicago, Illinois, and Thompson Coburn LLP.
